You must have access to work in the gas industry to enable work place assessments to take place. If you are under19 years of age, you will require a pass at Level 2 or equivalent in relevant vocational area and a minimum Grade 4 in Maths and/or English or equivalent. An interview and suitable reference.
Learners will learn and decelop the skills required for employment in the gas engineering sector such as relevant Gas safety principles, Central heating systems, Combustion analysis, Gas fires and space heaters and domestic metering.
Candidates are required to wear safety boots and overalls during all practical sessions.
Successful candidates can apply directly to the gas safe registration scheme with- CCN 1, CENWAT, HTR 1, CPA 1, MET1/2, Candidates can access a wide range of other courses including: ACS assessments in other specialist subject
